This commemorative 50th-anniversary timepiece pays tribute to the “Silver Snoopy Award” presented to OMEGA by NASA astronauts in 1970, recognising the brand’s invaluable contributions to space exploration, including the historic Apollo 13 mission.

Stainless Steel

DESCRIPTION

This 50th-anniversary commemorative watch pays tribute to the “Silver Snoopy Award” that OMEGA received from NASA astronauts in 1970, in recognition of the brand’s contributions to space exploration, including the Apollo 13 mission.

The 42 mm stainless steel case is presented with a blue nylon fabric strap. The silver dial features blue PVD angled hour markers and hands, as well as an embossed silver Snoopy medallion on the blue sub-dial at 9 o’clock.

On the caseback with NAIAD LOCK, a view of the far side of the Moon is decorated on the sapphire crystal using a micro-structured metallisation process.

In addition to the black engravings on the caseback that are a tribute to the Apollo 13 mission and OMEGA’s Silver Snoopy Award. This non-limited watch is powered by the Manual-winding Movement.
